I am not a great romantic but I like to sit with my wife and chew over the problems of life over a bottle of wine. Though it happens habitually but we don't do it so often. Of course, sex, as a rule, happens after such pastime on evenings... But I follow rules that's why the question - is it allowed to drink alcoholic drinks with erectile dysfunction drugs – is very important for me.
They don't ban! They only warn...
It seems that there is nothing simpler than googling this question to find the right answer. I did it. And I found a lot of assertions that alcohol goes with impotence drugs. But since this problem has to do with health, each should sort it out himself. There is a lot of inconsistent information on that issue on the Internet that's why I hope that my experience together with some pieces of medical advice will help some readers to make up a conclusion – to drink or not to drink while taking erectile dysfunction medicines.
I should say at once doctors don't recommend trying any erectile dysfunction drug with alcoholic drinks. They even warn you saying - it's better to abstain from eating fatty food and drinking alcoholic drinks if you are going to take an impotence drug or if you have already taken it. Dizziness, a rapid heart rate and low blood pressure are the consequences of frequent occurrence, they say. But many physicians stipulate that such consequences are unlikely to happen if you are a rather healthy man (have no problems with blood pressure and your heart), follow the notes indicated in instructions included in the packages with erectile dysfunction drugs and drink moderate doses of alcohol.
Meanwhile, a lot of men claim that they have taken the drugs and alcohol a lot of times and have never faced any problem. It's true too. As for me - I have never had problems too while drinking a glass of wine having taken a pill of Cialis, Levitra or Viagra before. Actually my acquaintance with erectile dysfunction drugs started after I had had some whisky (not much!). All was great that night, believe me!

But after a year or an unpleasant incident happened with me... I was coming back home from a rather noisy pastime with my friends. I had drunk enough but I didn't feel under the influence of drink. Moreover, I wanted to gain my wife's favor and took two pills of Cialis (I knew about the inverse effect, when large quantities of alcohol reduce sexual potency so I took the double dose of the impotence drug). And after a while... I had never had such crazy heartbeat before! The air seemed to be smothery and I wanted just to stop that rapid heart rate! Thankfully, my wife was sleeping. As for me... All that night I remained wakeful. All next day I felt bad. And after that I have never combined large doses of any erectile dysfunction drug with large doses of alcohol. As for prescribed doses after a little alcohol... If it works then why stop!
